Reports

Management Backup provides a set of reports for analysis, preparation of financial reports, management reporting and for other purposes.

The following reports are available:

  • User Plan Report. This report type is sent once the backup or restore plan is completed and contains details of a particular plan run
  • Group Report. This report contains information about the last run status of all backup and restore plans
  • Licensing Report. This report contains information on the existing trial and paid licenses, their activation, and expiration dates for each user or company
  • License Usage Report. This report contains licenses usage info grouped by license type
  • Compliance Report. The Backup Compliance Report contains details of all backup plan runs for the selected period
  • Backup History report. This report contains information on backup plans history in calendar format
  • Storage Usage Report. This report contains information on space used, storage limits for each backup storage destination
  • Overdue Report. This report contains information regarding overdue plans (i.e. those plans that were not run on scheduled time) for each user/company
  • Software Inventory Report. This report contains information software installed on computers with the installed RMM Agent instances
  • Computer Inventory Report. This report contains information on computers with the installed RMM Agent instances
  • Software Details Report. This report contains detailed information on software with the installed RMM Agent instances

View Reports

To view the list of available reports, select the Scheduled Reports item in the Reporting menu.

The list of available reports has a table view.

The report table columns contain the following data:

  • The report type
  • Schedule options
  • The next report delivery time
  • Filtering options
  • List of recipients

Add A New Report

To add a new User Plan Report refer to the User Plan Report chapter

  1. In the Reporting menu, select Scheduled Reports.
  2. Click Add Report.

  1. Select the report type you want to receive.
  2. Specify the schedule options for the report. The following options are available in the Schedule type option group:
  • No schedule. Select this option if you want to generate and receive a report manually
  • Daily. Select this option if you want to receive reports on a daily basis
  • Weekly. Select this option if you want to receive reports on a weekly basis
    • In Day of week drop-down list, select the required day of report delivery
  • Monthly. Select this option if you want to receive a report on a monthly basis
    • In Day of month drop-down list, select the required day of report delivery
  • Select the time of report delivery in the Send time drop-down list

5. Specify filtering options.

  • Select None option (set by default) to receive the full report
  • Select By company option to receive reports on the specific company
    • In Company drop-down list, select the company you want to receive the report on
  • Select By user option to receive reports on the specific user
    • In User drop-down list, select the user you want to receive the report on
  • Select Include only scheduled plans check box (available only for Group report) to include scheduled plans only in the report
  • Select Include only failed statuses check box (available only for Group report) to include failed backup plans in the report

6. Specify recipients for the report.

  • Select Contact email option if you want to use the email address specified in your profile
  • Select Specified in the list below (one per line): option if you want to deliver the report to multiple recipients, then list the recipients' email addresses

Each email address should be on the separate line

7. Specify the report format. The following formats are available:

  • HTML
  • CSV

8. Once you are finished, click Save.

Edit a Report

To Edit a Report

  1. In the Reporting menu, select Scheduled Reports.
  2. Click the Edit icon in the line of the report you want to edit.
  3. Make the required changes (refer to the Add a New Report paragraph to learn about the settings available).
  4. Once you are finished, click Save.

Delete a Report

To Delete a Report

  1. In the Reporting menu, select Scheduled Reports.
  2. Click the X icon.
  3. Confirm the report deletion in the dialog box.
